Above and Beyond "Ordinary" People is a small non-profit organization devoted to fulfilling a huge dream. We are dedicated to teaching safe, confident and responsible riding skills to all types of riders.

Primarily focusing on serving individuals with disabilities, our school provides dynamic individualized riding instruction for adults and children in Ventura County. By implementing proven therapeutic methods, we can improve a rider's balance, strength, self-confidence, attention span, and communication skills.

Time and time again, we have seen that a student's improved skills in the saddle result in improved independence and increased ability to perform the functions of daily life.

Our vision is to continue to grow, build and invest in our school, our quality therapeutic riding program, and our students, so that the lives of an even greater number of riders, with and without disabilities, may be enriched emotionally, psychologically, and physically.
